余白／Yohaku
点画の中に適度な〈余白〉を取ることによって、文字に温和さが生まれます。この〈余白〉は、墨の部分の“影”に対して、“光”と捉えることも出来ます。
Keeping moderate “Yohaku” among the Ten and lines of a character allows it to have mildness. The “Yohaku” can be thought as the “light” in contrast to the “shadow” of Sumi ink part.
